Educational Wilderness-Themed Bedroom
A wilderness themed bedroom can really help your son enjoy his room. With just the right elements, you can make his room quite educational as well. If you know little about wilderness survival, you may opt to join a survival forum and participate in discussion threads. This way, you will learn some things about the wilderness and some survival ideas that you can incorporate in your child’s room.
You can make your son’s survival themed bedroom more than just a combination of sky-blue walls, forest green carpet and log bed; you can turn his bedroom into a place of learning about nature. In addition to tree-shaped lamp, the leaf patterned bedding, the stuffed animals on the bed and the glow in the dark stars on the ceiling; you can put learning tools and posters of wildlife strategically at eye level. You can also put a stump-shaped table with matching stool to provide a drawing area where your son can do his homework at art works. You can also put a log-framed cork board on a wall to provide an area where your son can put his drawings on display.
To help your son learn how to take care of nature, you may opt to put some real indoor plants that he can water and take care of by himself.
